Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI), in partnership with the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC) - Nueva Ecija, successfully held a Syllabus Development Training and Workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) on November 18, 2025, at the Core 2 – College Library. The event was attended by the faculty members of the College of Education (CED) and the College of Social Science and Technology (COSSTECH).

The training featured Dr. Hajji R. Palmero, Chief Education Supervisor of the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD) of the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP–NCR). Dr. Palmero delivered comprehensive discussions on the principles and practical applications of OBE, particularly focusing on its integration in syllabus development aligned with professional standards and learner-centered outcomes.

The program formally opened with a message from Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, School President. In the morning session, Dr. Palmero presented both Part I and Part II of the OBE Syllabus Development lecture, which concluded with a brief open forum facilitated by Ms. Joyce R. Puno.

During the afternoon session, faculty members participated in a hands-on writing workshop that allowed BEED, BSED, MDD, BAPS, BSBA, and BSCS programs to collaboratively craft and refine an OBE-aligned syllabus.

The event capped off with the Awarding of Certificates of Appreciation to the speaker and contributors, led by Dr. Jenny Rose T. Gonzales, Dean of the College of Education (CED) and Dr. Marjorie S. Velasco, Dean of the College of Social Science and Technology (COSSTECH).

This initiative underscores CGCI's continuing commitment to academic excellence and teacher competency development.
