Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI) delivered an impressive performance at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026, earning multiple awards and advancing one qualifier to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).

Ryza Nichole Riguer earned 3rd Place in Copyreading and Headline Writing (Filipino Category), qualifying for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) under the mentorship of Mr. Jonathan Pascual.

The CGCI Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting (Filipino Category – Secondary Level) team ranked 4th Overall out of 11 participating school, also winning 3rd Place – Best in Technical Application, 4th Place – Infomercial, and 4th Place – Best in Scriptwriting, guided by Mr. Joseph Antolin.

The competition gathered campus journalists from various schools across the division, showcasing students’ skills in writing, editing, broadcasting, and technical production.

With Riguer advancing to the regional level, CGCI’s strong showing reflects the institution’s continued commitment to excellence in campus journalism and media performance.
