NEWS | CGCI Welcomes Accreditors for Preliminary Visit, Strengthens Quality Commitment

Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI) reached another significant milestone as it welcomed a team of accreditors for the Preliminary Visit on August 18–22, 2025. The visit is a crucial step in the institution’s preparation for its forthcoming accreditation survey, affirming CGCI’s dedication to delivering quality education.

The panel of accreditors was headed by Dr. Apolinar M. Alfonso as the Overall Coordinator. Joining him were Dr. Cecilia V. Lucena (Master of Arts in Education – Faculty, Curriculum, and Instruction), Dr. Ali G. Mamaclay (Master in Public Administration – Faculty, Curriculum, and Instruction), Dr. Marvin Nonoy B. Campit (Research, Resources, Social Orientation, and Community Involvement), Dr. Lorelie D. Alarcon (Business Administration – Faculty, Instruction, Laboratories), Dr. Gina B. Garcia (Business Administration – Student Personnel Services, Social Orientation and Community Involvement, Physical Plant and Facilities), and Dr. Carmelita A. Tiglao (Library of all programs).

The visit served as a comprehensive evaluation of CGCI’s academic programs, services, and facilities, paving the way for further strengthening of institutional standards. Through their feedback and recommendations, the accreditors provided CGCI with valuable guidance to ensure sustained academic excellence and continuous quality improvement.
