Ten Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) cadets from the Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI) have successfully completed the 28-day ROTC Summer Training Camp (RSCT) Class 01-2025, held in Camp Gen. Sevilliano A. Aquino, San Miguel, Tarlac. This batch, known as MASID-LAYA, underwent intensive military and leadership training designed to develop discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of civic responsibility.

Throughout the month-long training, cadets faced physically demanding drills, field exercises, lectures, and simulations—all aimed at honing their skills as future leaders and nation-builders. Each day tested their strength, determination, and unity.

Baloc PA (RES) Instructor, SGT Jerry Canuel PA (RES) Instructor, CPL Resty F. Andasan PA (RES) Instructor, PFC Herminio B. Paulino PA (RES) Instructor, PVT Ernesto Valenton Jr. PA (RES) Instructor, PVT Darcy Delos Reyes PA (RES) Instructor, PVT Ma Mae Bautita PA (RES) GMA/Instructor, PVT Almira Jane S. Aguilar PA (RES) GMA/Instructor, and Corporal Resty F. Andasan, and Mr. Jan Allan Santos (NSTP Instructor), the cadets rose to the challenge and demonstrated exceptional commitment to their duties.

CGCI ROTCU Cadet 3rd Class: Vanna Margaret A. Dar (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration), Grace Ann Dionio Cubo (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration), Lady-Anne Fernandez (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration), Diether Jay Pascua (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science), Mike Ivan Veniegas (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science), John Ernest Rodrigo (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science), Eman Delcarmen (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science), Joseph Rosario (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science), Jamaica Hernando (Bachelor of Secondary Education), and Jessica Calalen (Bachelor of Secondary Education).

Upon their return, they were formally welcomed by CGCI President, Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, who commended them for their perseverance and discipline.

Carrying with them the values of “Dangal, Lakas, Yaman, at Adhikain,” these cadets now return to their academic duties with renewed purpose and strengthened character. Salute!
