Core Gateway College, Inc. student Von Daryl T. Valdez secured a Silver Medal in the CBRC 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee held at the University of Manila, on April 27, 2026.

The BSEd Social Studies major represented CGCI and CBRC–Nueva Ecija (Cabanatuan) in the competition organized by the Carl E. Balita Review Center.

Valdez competed among more than 150 participants nationwide and was guided by his coach, Mr. Mark Cliford Magalong, BSEd Instructor.

This achievement highlights CGCI’s continued pursuit of academic excellence and student success in national-level competitions.
