Arjie Carpio, a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in Social Studies student from CGCI, secured 2nd place in the recently concluded 3rd Provincial Quiz Bee organized by the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC). Representing CGCI and CBRC–Nueva Ecija (Cabanatuan), Carpio competed against 10 participants from various schools in the province.

Prior to the provincial competition, Carpio earned the opportunity to represent his delegation after securing 1st place in the institutionalized Quiz Bee, showcasing his strong academic foundation and readiness for higher-level contests, under the guidance of his coach, Mr. Mark Cliford Magalong.

The provincial round featured intense and challenging questions that tested the knowledge and analytical skills of all participants. Carpio’s consistent performance and determination led him to a podium finish.

He advances to the national stage and is set to compete in the CBRC National Level Quiz Bee on April 27–28, 2026, in Manila, where top qualifiers from across the country will gather for the final round.
