𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | CGCI’s Chan Clinches Bronze After Strong Run in CLARAA Girls Badminton Singles

Grade 9 student-athlete Crisse Erich Chan of Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI), representing San Jose City, captured the bronze medal in the Secondary Girls’ Singles Badminton event of the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLARAA) 2026, held at the National Academy of Sports, New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac.



Chan defeated Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan in the elimination rounds before edging Cabanatuan City in the quarterfinals. She bowed to the defending champion from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, in the semifinals.



Still, Chan secures a podium finish, capping off an impressive campaign and emerging as one of the tournament’s rising young talents.
