𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | I-CORE Secures 1 Group Award at 21st LHEPC

Core Gateway College, Inc. (CGCI), through its official student publication I-CORE, achieved recognition at the 21st Luzon-Wide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC).



The publication’s literary folio, PUKAW, was awarded 10th place out of 76 literary folios in the Best Cover Page category in Luzon, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering excellence in campus journalism.



The recognition was earned by CGCI delegates Mr. Kentchie De Guzman, Mr. Christian Sembrano, Mr. Dev Rohan Quirino, Ms. Kimberly Quitlong, Mr. Dony Voltaire Pulintan, and Mr. Beiman Ashley Samonte, who competed in the Photojournalism (Filipino) category representing Region III, under the supervision of Ms. Hanieline V. Emana.



The LHEPC is now a national-level competition that brings together student journalists to compete in various categories and promote responsible, high-quality campus journalism.
