San Jose City, Philippines — Competing against 23 schools at the San Jose City Division Athletic Meet (SJCDAM) 2025, the CGCI Eagles soared to 2nd place, securing 43 medals: 22 gold, 16 silver, and 8 bronze, during the event held November 25–28, 2025.

CGCI athletes excelled across multiple events, highlighted by dominant showings in Taekwondo, Swimming, Badminton, Dancesport, Table Tennis, Chess, and Sepak Takraw. CGCI swimmers led the surge, with boys and girls athletes capturing multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals across medley, freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke events. Taekwondo athletes likewise secured several golds in both Kyurogi and Poomsae categories, double gold in Women’s Badminton, and silver finishes in Dancesport and Table Tennis.

The school also confirmed nine CLARAA qualifiers—one from Chess, two from Badminton, and six from Taekwondo, who will advance to represent the division at the regional meet.

CGCI commends its student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for their hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication, marking another successful year for the Eagles’ athletic program.
