OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) is a four-year program which provides professional business and management education for those who would like to become entrepreneurs or pursue a career in any field of business such as finance, human resource management, and marketing. The BSBA program offers major specialization such as Financial Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing Management.

 

The BSBA major in Financial Management program prepares the graduates for various careers in financial management as well as in related fields. The curriculum provides the graduates with knowledge on financial institutions and technical skills based on the established financial theories, methodologies, and various analytical tools. It also promotes an outlook that is based primarily on ethics, market integrity, regulations, good governance and competitive global perspective, necessary for effective financial decision-making.

 

In addition, the BSBA major in Human Resource Management program prepares the graduate for a career in the human resource department of any organization, handling the many diverse human capital requirements of the organization, including recruitment, staffing, training and career development.

 

Moreover, the BSBA major in Marketing Management program prepares the graduates for various careers in marketing, market research, advertising and public relations. The curriculum provides the graduate with both technical skills and competencies required in the field, but also the flexible mindset that is necessary to stay competitive in a constantly changing business environment.

 

The offering of the BSBA program was approved by the Commission on Higher Education with Government Recognition No. 175, dated June 17, 1985. The BSBA curriculum was done in conformity with CHED Memorandum 17 s. 2017.
